Terms of service and sale

CineGeny and CineGeny Studio are operated by Emmanuel Smadja LTD, registration no. 336519525, 55 Rothschild Blvd, Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel. Contact: contact@cinegeny.com.

These terms cover accounts, trailer creation, edits, marketplace licences, your own face and gifts of Studio credits. The offer and the summary accepted before ordering specify the deliverables. Feature films, their viewing subscription and the private film edition featuring your face are marked “Coming soon” and are not sold.

Accounts are available from age 16, subject to the legal capacity and permissions required in your country. Festival entry, the personal face option and receipt of a physical poster require age 18. Use your own account and accurate information.

Trailers are free to watch. Google sign-in is required to vote or enter the Festival. Access is worldwide subject to applicable sanctions and the relevant provider’s restrictions; available delivery countries are shown before an address is collected.

720p trailer: $20, up to 30 seconds, 5 local edits included. 4K trailer: $50, up to 30 seconds, 10 local edits included.

5 local edits : $4.90. Full regeneration 720p : $4.90. Full regeneration 4K : $7.90.

The personal face option costs $6 for the selected work, following consent and private submission of your identity document.

Prices are in USD; applicable taxes and the total are shown before confirmation. The order summary states the offer, credits used, any remaining payment and the deliverables. A generation purchase never automatically enters a work into the Festival.

Card payments and new support purchases remain unavailable until the payment provider is connected. Availability is shown at checkout. Studio credits already acquired can be used for eligible purchases within the displayed limits.

Generation can produce variations and imperfect results. Included edits and additional packs allow changes to the work; the offer specifies their scope. If a job fails, contact support with the project and order for a retry or the applicable remedy, without being charged again for an already paid deliverable.

Support is a purchase of Studio credits given to the selected trailer’s creator. It is not a donation. It grants no ownership share, rights in the work, financial return or additional votes. Credits cannot be withdrawn as money or transferred to another platform.

The minimum amount is $1. The creator receives the payment less the provider’s actual fees as Studio credits. CineGeny’s support commission is 0 %. Credits expire 12 months after payment; your account shows expiry dates and credits expiring first are spent first.

A single payment of $100 or more includes a poster provided by CineGeny. Smaller payments are not combined to qualify. The poster cost is not deducted from the creator’s credits.

Your name is displayed among supporters only if you choose this. You can withdraw that display in your account or through support; this does not change the receipt or records needed to track the payment.

Festival entry, viewing and voting are free, with no purchase necessary. A trailer made elsewhere uses the same moderation queue and rules as a Studio trailer. Entering is a separate, optional step.

Each Google account has one vote per trailer per edition. Rankings are recalculated from valid votes. Positions shown during voting are provisional; final distinctions are awarded automatically after voting closes, under the edition’s rules, thresholds and tie-breaks.

Distinctions include a poster, with no cash prize or cash alternative. The edition’s versioned rules specify the schedule, categories, eligibility and appeals. A fingerprint identifies the exact text accepted when entering.

An address is not requested at signup. Once a poster is awarded, your account provides a form for one poster. You have 30 days to provide a complete address in an available country and confirm you are at least 18.

Gelato prints and ships the poster. Your account shows progress and available tracking. If no eligible address is provided by the deadline, a high-resolution PDF replaces physical delivery. If delivery fails, contact support for another delivery attempt or the PDF; there is no cash alternative.

Correct the address before the order is sent to production. Once printing or shipping starts, cancellation or a destination change may no longer be possible.

You retain the rights you hold in your work. You must have the permissions needed for images, voices, faces, text and other material you supply. An AI-generated result does not, by itself, guarantee exclusive rights.

You authorise the processing and reproduction necessary for the creation, hosting and delivery you request. If you publish a work, you authorise its presentation on CineGeny within the context you select, including its page and the Festival. Publishing does not transfer ownership of the work to CineGeny.

Each marketplace asset, set, voice or face is subject to the licence displayed before acquisition. Purchasing a licence does not grant rights beyond its scope. Permission to use a face never implicitly extends to another film or the catalogue.

The personal face option is for adults providing their own face and identity document. Before purchase, separate consent specifies the work, use and retention deadline. It is versioned, timestamped and bound to that work.

The identity document stays private for human verification; it is neither published nor sent to generation engines. The reference photo is used to create the face reference sheet. Unless you choose retention, the selfie is deleted after that sheet is produced.

You may revoke consent for future uses. Shots already rendered remain usable under the consent given. Resemblance to a public figure may block use; contact support for human review.

Your mandatory consumer rights remain applicable. If a 14-day withdrawal right applies to your order, exercise it at contact@cinegeny.com and identify the order. Immediate performance requires your express request; merely browsing does not waive that right. Any loss of the right must meet the legal conditions for the particular service or digital content.

Contact support about defects, undelivered orders or payment errors. Handling a complaint does not remove statutory guarantees or your right to dispute a transaction with the payment provider.

Illegal content, impersonation, sexual content involving minors, infringements of others’ rights and vote manipulation are prohibited. Content may be held for review, removed or disqualified; invalid votes are excluded.

A security or moderation measure may restrict your account. Request human review at contact@cinegeny.com. You may request account closure; pending operations and applicable retention obligations are handled before the affected data is deleted.

Changes to these terms are dated. The terms accepted for an order and rules accepted for an entry remain the reference for those operations, subject to mandatory law. These terms do not limit the remedies and protections the law gives you.
